Our country is rich; at least culturally.

Dilli Haat entrance, INA.

Dilli Haat, a place so rich and so diverse that it sometimes put my own interests in the western culture to shame. We often search for authenticity and beauty far away from us when it has always been there, right in front of our eyes, all we’ve got to do is just look. Once.

Crafts of different Indian states.

Going through each stall left me awe-struck. Whether it was the authentic intricate Silver filigree work or the Juti’s of Rajasthan, I was intrigued. It made me realize how our country is filled with such unique crafts and skilled people that we often overlook! This place gives them a good platform to showcase their work.

You’ll find all kinds of Indian crafts(and don’t forget foodπŸ˜‹) in Dilli Haat. Anybody who loves to decorate either their home or themselves; or loves the Indian culture, should visit this place at least once. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. I know I wasn’t! πŸ™‚
